All your AI. Working together.

aiobox.app  ·  Windows · macOS · Linux · Tauri v2

AIObox is a desktop app that manages multiple AI accounts, Claude, ChatGPT, Grok, Gemini, as separate isolated browser profiles, built on the Chrome DevTools Protocol. It generalizes aki-mcp-sv into a multi-provider model, repackaged as an app with no command-line setup. The aiobox.app website is marketing, an Energy wallet, and admin only — the real product is the desktop build, already on GitHub Release desktop-0.2.0 (macOS); Windows packaging is not publicly verified yet.

  • The real product is the desktop app — Windows, macOS, Linux — no mobile build, no web substitute
  • Manages multiple AI accounts as separate browser profiles, built on the Chrome DevTools Protocol
  • Live usage tracking over CDP already works for Claude and Grok; Gemini is on the roadmap, GPT is not tracked yet
  • Create a brand-new profile or clone one from an existing Chrome profile on the machine
  • Generalizes aki-mcp-sv (a single-provider MCP bridge) into a multi-provider model, packaged as an app with no command line needed
  • The aiobox.app website is marketing, an Energy wallet, and admin only — not the real product
  • Pay-as-you-go Energy wallet: 1 Energy = $0.04 (~1,000 VND), topped up via PayPal
  • Desktop has GitHub Releases (Latest desktop-0.2.0, 2026-08-26); macOS DMG is on Releases. Windows packaging is still unverified publicly; the product remains in active development

Core Ideas

Multi-profile, multi-account

Each AI account lives in its own isolated browser profile — create fresh or clone from an existing Chrome profile, with no session conflicts between accounts.

Live usage probe over CDP

A Runtime.evaluate call fetches real usage data from the provider's own endpoint using that profile's session cookies — already working for Claude and Grok.

Core process lifecycle control

The Settings view lets you start/stop the core process, check for updates, and inspect the panel port and tokenizer/browser-scan paths in use.

Cross-checked login state

Login state prioritizes measured live usage data over short-lived analytics cookies, avoiding a false "session expired" alert while the account is still active.

Energy wallet on the web

The aiobox.app website runs a pay-as-you-go Energy wallet (1 Energy = $0.04), topped up via PayPal, with balance and ledger wired directly to Cloudflare D1.

On the roadmap, not live yet

Built-in chat, auto MCP configuration, Council, CLI Agents, Computer control, Jobs — all 6 carry a "Planned" chip on the /roadmap/ page; none is a working feature yet.

Two separate surfaces: Desktop and Web

Desktop — the real product

Tauri v2 + Rust, browser automation over CDP. Profile management, usage measurement, core process control. GitHub Release Latest desktop-0.2.0 (macOS DMG); Windows packaging not publicly verified yet.

Web — marketing & Energy wallet

Nuxt 4 + Cloudflare Pages at aiobox.app: marketing pages, a roadmap, a pay-as-you-go Energy wallet via PayPal, and admin. Not where the product itself runs.

Author

Lạc Việt Anh  —  founder of the Aki ecosystem. AIObox generalizes the experience of building aki-mcp-sv into a multi-provider desktop app, packaged for users who don't want to touch a command line.

AIObox belongs to the ecosystem's dev-tooling layer, directly descending from aki-mcp-sv and sharing its rule-sync standard with AkiDevRule.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is AIObox?
AIObox is a desktop app (Windows, macOS, Linux) that manages multiple AI accounts, Claude, ChatGPT, Grok, Gemini, as separate browser profiles, tracking usage live over the Chrome DevTools Protocol. It generalizes aki-mcp-sv into a multi-provider model, packaged as an app with no command line required.
Is AIObox an MCP server?
No. AIObox carries the technical lineage of aki-mcp-sv (a single-provider MCP server) but is itself a desktop app that manages account profiles and measures usage through browser automation (CDP), not a standalone MCP server.
Is AIObox usable yet?
Desktop is released on GitHub Releases (Latest desktop-0.2.0, macOS build). Windows packaging is not publicly verified yet; the web roadmap still has planned items. The aiobox.app website is live at version 0.4.6 but only serves as marketing, an Energy wallet, and admin — not where the product itself runs.
How is AIObox different from using each AI app directly?
Instead of juggling separate tabs or apps per AI provider, AIObox gathers those accounts into one desktop app, each account in its own isolated browser profile, with usage visible in one place.
