What receive-only means, and why it fits an OTP inbox
A receive-only model drops the SMTP send path, keeping the inbox focused on OTP, verification, and testing.

Receive-only means the inbox only accepts incoming mail and has no send path. That limit is what defines RegMail.me: a place to receive OTPs, verification codes, and testing email.
A limit as a feature
With no send path, nobody can use an inbox to spread spam or spoof a sender, and the service carries no sender-reputation burden. Incoming mail goes through Cloudflare Email Routing to a webhook, so the system only handles one direction.
Public by construction
Anyone who knows the address can send mail to it. That is why paid overflow beyond the 5 emails a day is off by default and capped per day: a flood of junk cannot push the cost up on its own.
When to choose receive-only
Choose a receive-only inbox when all you need is to read a code, a link, or a notification. Choose a full mailbox when you need to reply, send mail, or keep a long-term conversation going.
