RegMail.me: mailboxes you can now buy, gift and transfer

RegMail.me priced a paid Energy wallet: extra mailboxes, owner lookup, mailbox transfer and Energy gifting, alongside the existing free tier.

RegMail.me: mailboxes you can now buy, gift and transfer

RegMail.me keeps its first free mailbox as it was: 1 address per account, 5 received emails a day, no charge. From 0.7.0 through 0.10.2, the project added a paid Energy wallet for everything beyond that: buying extra mailboxes, gifting Energy to someone else, looking up who owns an address, and transferring a mailbox to another account outright.

The Energy wallet: a clear price for every need

1 Energy costs 1,000 VND, topped up via SePay VietQR or an international card. An extra mailbox costs 5 Energy, charged once. Email beyond the 5-per-day free quota costs 1 Energy each, but only when the mailbox owner has switched on paid overflow for that mailbox; it is off by default and capped per day. Looking up which account owns an address costs 1 Energy per lookup, found or not, and the owner's email is only partly shown.

Gifting and transferring mailboxes between accounts

From /gift, one account can send Energy to anyone through a one-time claim link, with no need to know the receiver's account beforehand. 0.10.2 adds the next step: transferring a mailbox to another account outright from /me. The sender creates a free link, and the receiver opens /transfer/ and pays 5 Energy to take ownership. Mail received before the transfer stays private from the new owner, and giving away your free mailbox does not give you another free one.

Telegram alerts and admin tooling

0.10.0 added Telegram alerts for admins on server errors, payments received but not credited, and failed inbound-email writes, so problems surface faster than waiting for a user report. Alongside it, the admin Users and Gifts pages (0.8.0 to 0.9.0) let admins search, sort and see an overview of every account and gift in the system.
